Last Friday was Shan’s last day being my toilet cum gossip cum tea break pal. Oh sobssss! You will be missed, miss wiggy! But that photo did not do me any justice you know! My face looked so fat, my eyes looked lagi beany & my mouth looked so huge that you could squeeze a fist into it. You sure that’s the only photo we took together? =( Anyways, really appreciate the lil card my toilet pal made for me. Heeexxx! But I reckon that we should take chio-er photos together.

Just last Thursday, Shan, Hiang & I were discussing about the half a year apple picking stint in NZ. Just imagine, getting paid while you get to swim with dolphins, ski, jetboat, enjoy the beautiful scenery & of course, pick apples in NZ! Ain’t that great???? But wait, how is that going to fit into my resume? My job title will be Apple Picker? My job scope will be Apple picking? Hence, the 3 notably bored office ladies came out with some ideas to beautify their future apple picking job scope.

Job Title: Fruits Analyst – I just came out with it, cool ea? HA HA!

I need to save again for my next overseas trip. Need to save A LOT MORE cos this Oct/Nov will be FRANKFURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mrs nose digger's brother managed to snag an attachment in Germany so we're going to crash over at his place. Free lodging!
Air ticx will be approx 1.6-1.8k & every of my dollar will be halved over there. I really need to abstinent from clubbing, excessive shopping & excessive eating. I muz step into GERMANY! & pick fruits in NZ.

On a more serious note, watching the Sichuan earthquake clips made me weep. The victims have such strong will power to live for their loves but died when the tons of slabs are finally being lifted from their bodies. They made it so far, clenched their teeths & endured the pain for their loves but left the world cos the pain was really too much to bear.

It has been quite a busy few weeks for me after i returned from the land of shopping & gambling. Work, eat, sleep & chill out. and YES! I finally pierced my belly button. Weelllie, all thanks to mrs nose digger who has the sudden urge to tattoo! Everyone was telling me that it wasnt painful, but OUCH - it HURTS! The belly piercer (i supposed so) was saying that my belly is rather stiff & hard to pierce. OF COS LAH, I GOT MUSCLE EH.. HA HA!

Heading out to town to chill out with the far east bunch later. I have not hanged out with them for a good 1 year I guess! oh wow! This session is for YT who will be heading to New York end of this month. Oh gurrrlllll! Im so envious!

Im still wondering if I should take CFA. I seem to be wasting my life away, living without a specific aim. My life is just working, eating my fortune away, partying, chilling out & crashing into my bed for a few hours before the same cycle repeats. Im playing too hard & slacking too much. I must STOP the rot. I MUST register either CPA or CFA by end of this year. i MUST stop slacking. I MUST I MUST I MUST. Having a CFA tagged behind my name, aint that cool? That shall be my motivation. =)

Countless late nights = ultimate puffy eyes & very very serious eye bags. I have changed my shampoo but the zits on my forehead seemed to have migrated onto my forehead, refusing to leave. Puffy face + Puffy eyes + Many zits on forehead, sounds so much like a walking puffy fish with zits. Chew hiang commented that I look as if I have double eyelid on my lower eye too. I couldnt agree more. Doesnt that underlie the seriousness of my eyebags? Eyebags eyebags go away.

i have an insatiable craving for ben & jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice cream these few days. Feel like eating it even when im full & burping. The CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIE ADDICTION! My face is looking more & more like d ben & jerry's tub; FAT & LONG. Had a tub each on Thurs, Fri, Sun & today!!!! I wish I could bury my whole body into a huge tub of CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIE ICE CREAM, swim a few laps & then slowly licking all the fudgy chocolate into my mouth. *burps*

Im eating like a pregnant woman these few days. Im eating like nana d 5 months pregnant mommy. Went for supper @ nydc last night & the ferociously piggish me gobbled up a chicken wrap & grandma's pie. Not to mention a packet of oyster omelette which was supposedly for my mommy. You can call me the forever peckish vicky.

Does everyone out there knows that the singapore ferris wheel is called the singapore flyer??? Oh gosh! The sua ku me have no idea that its called the singapore flyer.

I have been having terrible breakouts and unsightly bumps on my forehead due to a stupid shampoo that im allergic to. I can see the zits smiling & waving happily at me. I hate you fugly ZITS.

Just when I have decided that Im getting too old for the partying & getting wasted culture, mellie made an attempt to resuscitate my itchy legs. Itchy legs, are you still alive?? I shall know the answer on friday.

SO HOW DID VICKSSSS SPEND HER V-DAY??? Well.. I must say it was super 'romantic'. Cool beyond your imaginations. Oh yea babies, I finally stepped out of my lil red den to my aunt's place to do what im supposed to do on a cheena day. Nothing much to do there though, more of catching up with the 2 cousins i grew up with, Crystal & Clement. Crystal got into SAJC studying Arts & Music. Im so envious!Now i REALLY regret not choosing JC years ago! WHY VICKY? WHY WHY WHY!!! n Giving up piano for the most absurd reason! Why Vicky??? WHY WHY???

Headed to bukit timah for another round of dinner with mel, px, kenneth & kelvin. I love the tau hu! Cripsy outside & sooo awwwieee tender inside! As our gambling itch kicked in, we decided to head to my lil red den to scratch that itch with another additional member, kahui! Kelvin was the biggest winner of the night, sweeping off 70 bucks of kenneth's hard earned ang bao money.. I was not too bad either! I was second in the running, winning 34 bucks! HOOOHOOO! Im really damm free this cheena new year! Everyone is busy visiting relatives' places to collect ang baos while im stucked in my lil red den coughing my life away & watching movie online. oh SOBS! Nothing really exciting about cheena new year. I prefer the ang mo new year where i can countdown with my lovelies and admire the pretty fireworks!

Had dinner earlier with uncle cheng & family & I ATE MY 1ST BUDDHA JUMPS OVER THE WALL (loosely translated from the mandarin 'fo tiao qiang') in my life. Okay, I know Im super SUA KU. BUT I always had sharks' fin for cheena new year mah & its the 1st time i had the buddha jumping over to my plate, OF COS IM EXCITED. Its awesome having 1 huge rubber fish (abalone) to myself and the FRESH sharks' fin. *BURPS*

Aside from that, my cousins have blossomed over the years! My little cousin dickson is so DAMM muscular lor. Sounds so wrong to call that muscular cuzzie of mine LITTLE when he is so HUGE. His arms are like 4 times more muscular than mine! He used to be so fair and skinny! I must say PUBERTY DOES WONDER! Not forgetting wendy! She has become prettier too! HER SKIN IS GLOWING! Well, i quite like the movie (CJ7) I watched in the evening with dearest linda & daniel. Its quite a refreshing break from Stephen Chow's usual nonsensical slapsticks. It tones down the wacky comedy and plays up the touching relationship between the father & son. The cute ET named CJ7 in the movie bears an uncanny resemblance to my little turtle speaker! It has a a cute face like my lil turtle speaker and a body which looks a lot like jelly bean.

Watched 'The Notebook' online & its so lomantic and touching! Fell crazily in love, seperated, got together years later, grew old together & died with their hands tightly locked together. Kandang dayweet was saying that 'before sunset' is nice too, so i shall watch that tomorrow!

Well, am off to bed. Gotta sleep earlier today cos im coughing and coughing and coughing.

In d end, no chickens were slaughtered! Foundation & blusher were slapped onto my face & everything was called off! Oh jeeezzzz! Singing k on CNY eve cost a hefty 35 bucks. Okay, using hefty to describe 35 bucks is a lil too exagerrating but its really way too straining for my thin wallet! Bring on the cab fare and food i will needa spend 50 odd on my chicken slaughtering session. So px and I thought of catching a movie instead. BUT mellie & kenneth wana go to the temple to pray the god of prosperity instead. OH WHAT? TEMPLE? I thought u are a christian mellie!! What are doing in a temple instead of a church? Why are you snatching joss sticks with the ah sohs & ah cheks? SO, a conference call was held and our meeting was called off.

Refusing to remove the make up that i had just put on, i called kate. To my dismay, Kate is going to 'four horses' road too! The moment Kate says si maaa (four horses), i know im destined to wash my freshly made up face immediately. Everyone is going to the 'four horses road' to snatch joss sticks! Everyone HUAT! Kate HUAT, Mel HUAT, Kenneth HUAT! So vicks gotta stay at home to HUAT with sugar. Yawnzzz! Looking at the rather bored sugar, I signalled her to get out of her bed and brought her out for a walk. Well, it was a serene & cooling walk at night. Great to listen to my mp3 and stroll along the usual street with sugar.

Last week was quite a challenge. A week which i seriously spent time pondering what i really want in life. I have finally tendered my resignation. Have decided that Im not suitable to work in the operations department of a stockbroking firm. Im going back to the accounting line. Im going to get my CPA and STOP drifting and slacking around. My aim is to be an accountant in 2 years' time and be a CPA in 3 years' time! & also save enough money to set up my own business!

For whatever reasons, I have been 'fasting' myself from fb & friendster. I have been spending time doing things that are more constructive like reading business times. Surprisingly, i enjoy reading it! GREAT!

Went to Sentosa/Cafe del mar yesterday morning wif lia, chard, weilin & yamin. I love the pool there! Sadly, there wasnt much sun yesterday! Well, will prolly go there again next monday with mellie & coy. Something to look forward to!

i just realised i have not been blogging for almost a year! Its the year of RAT this YEAR! IM FREAKING OLD!! 23 going on 24!!!!!!!! SOBS!

Cindy was telling me that its a BAD BAD BAD BAD RAT year for the RATS. Something like 'fan tai sui'. Yea, i know i sound CHEENA but i really feel that i am going to be rather SUAY this year. But i guess it wont be just the rats who will be in for a bad year, I guess most of us would be! Look at how the US banks are doing right now! ARGHHH..

Anyway, I have been slacking a lot since i graduate. To be more precise, i have been slacking since I graduated from secondary school. The last time i mugged like crazy was like 7 yrs ago for my O levels. Mugging during poly=lying down on the bed then falling asleep then drooling on the notes. Mugging during uni=spending time overnight at mac & ntu study rooms bitching, cracking lame jokes and finally, freaking out the day before the exams.

Have been pondering this for quite some time. Should i take my CPA Australia??? Or should I head to Australia to take my professional dog training course? I would prefer the latter!!! P.S I cant afford to do both. But i must keep my brain active you know. My brain have been on holiday for more than half a year and its on its way to the senile lane.

A friend of mine just told me that his gf chose to go back to her ex. Oh.. How sad. Felt so sorry for him. Sometimes life is full of such unpleasant surprises but dont fret cos its there to make you stronger. Everything happens for a reason. Just forget about those who do not give a damm to your life and move on to be a happier person! Whatever will be, will be. The optimistic ones live longer. N kate! I love you! but dnt worry, im not a lesbo! Everything is going to be ok!

Did anyone watch Ugly Betty last night? Its damm nice n hilarious man!!! Its really a MUST SEE!!!! She has a VERI VERI BAD and COMICAL dress sense! She got a job working for Mode, a fashion magazine, as assistant to the gorgeous looking editor in chief (Daniel) mainly bcos she is ugly enough to frighten the hell outta Daniel from making out with her in the office. Daniel's dad wana stop him from having romps in the office with his assistant so he hired UGLY BETTY.

Her bro told her to dress fashionably on her 1st day, so she arrives for work in this ugly looking large poncho which has a cartoon character behind. FASHION POLICE! PLS! I couldnt stop laughing when I saw her in the silly looking piece of cloth.

There's also another damm hilarious part where she wore a super duper SM costume- a black and red pleather hot pant set, with thigh high silver boots. Went to Marina Square's Ministry of Food ystd for dinner with lingjia, gin, px, mel, andy, weijie, daowei n terry. SLURP! Took quite a handful of ugly cum funny looking photos with px's camera. PX upload hor. UPLOAD. haha!

I was really down on luck ystd. SUAY. LOST $25 on poker. eeeeee! I was on winning streak initially but lost all way after i went to pang sai! Yikes! really DAI SAI! Black Jack's brother kept haunting PX n I!!! FIVE WORMS TOO!!! ANDY n DAOWEI SUCKED PX's and my money! PX n I ended up using the ang bao money given by LINDA. SOBSSSS.

Had big breakfast after that and reached home at 6am this morning. I saved the cab fare cos i was thick skinned enuff to force daowei and andy to fork out the cabfare. hoo.. px oso gt a free brooomm broooomm ride from terry. 'S'PORE GIRL GIVES BIRTH AT 9'. That is the headline splashed across today's newpaper. 9? 9? 9? 9? 9? 9? OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!OMG! You mean she was pregnant when she was 8? What was I doing when I was 8? Perhaps watching my favourite smurf cartoon or playing hide n seek. Initially, I thought she is a poor girl who was raped by a lustful old jackass. The CPF Board workers are really STUPID!! Brainless!! OMG!!

Anyway, I was rummaging through my very very VERY messy drawer for a CPF letter regarding my Singpass password juz nw. Instead of the Singpass password, I found a plentiful of old photos. I used to adore kids. Yea, used to. I used to dream of having 2 kids and 3 dogs. I still love babies, they are as cute as button but same cannot be said when they grow older to like.... 3 year old? The sight of those spolit kids wailing when they fail to get their parents to fork out cash for their desired toys disgusts me. The sight of parents screaming at the top of their voices when their kids disobey them is a total turn off. There are also some kpo kids who enjoy invading your privacy by rummaging through your stuff.

You will needa deal with their wails when they are young, the anxiety of them being led astray by bad company during their teenage years and the heartbreak when they decided to save their pennies by abandoning you when you grow old. Btw, I am a filial daughter, ok? But there are some PROFESSIONALS out there who earn BIG bucks but refused to even spend 1% of their pay checks on their parents. Yea, there is a growing number of such people waiting to be struck by the lightning one day.

There is also a growing number of horny secondary school students who decided that making out at the senior citizens' corner or staircases are far more economical and thrilling than home or motels. I have seen one such couple making out at the staircase landing opposite my block. They thought the deserted staircase would keep them away from prying eyes. SILLY! Perhaps they were so damm intoxicated and horny that they did not realise that the heartlanders at the opposite block were all tuning in to their porno acts.

In conclusion, the best way to prevent yourself from such parenting distress is to avoid having offsprings.

For the time being, dogs are preferred. I decided to stick to having 3 dogs ( a lab, beagle n my sugar!!) and forget about the 2 kids. Dogs are loyal and loving. Sugar never fail to brighten up my day by prancing and jumping around me rumbustiously when I got back home after a fuckingly tiring working + studying day. Her tail will be wagging furiously and her tongue will be sticking out, as though to say,'welcome home!', whenever I reach home.

Went to check out the fashion bar yesterday with jw and eva. It was quite a letdown cos I hate the puny tables and high stools. We could only sit outside as we did not purchase at least a bottle of alcohol. I hate the seats outside cos the stool was high and i felt insecure when my feet was left dangling in the air. I have this silly imagination that I would fall flat onto the ground from the stool and break my two front teeth. I am a VERY clumsy person. SIGHHH.. To be fair, the interior do look pretty attractive. BUT they have a veri squeezy UNISEX LOO. EEWWW.. The crowd was passable. Mostly executives who are in their late twenties and above. In summary, it was a boring place which play retro music. I HATE RETRO MUSIC! I cant stand the 'woo oh....oh... oh...oh square rulesss' and retro hand signs. Fashion bar is definitely overrated.

After a few hours of bitching session on the high stools, we decided to head to our usual haunt, Attica.

The crowd was pretty bad but the music was GREAT! Hip Hop and r&b. There was this desperate looking malay girl who wore a revealing blue dress which showed off her protruding nipples. She was shaking vigorously on the dance floor as if she was having epilepsy. There was also this FAT middle age caucasian guy who was shaking and moving his enormous booty so hard that he bumped us outta the dance floor several times. I HATE HUGE BOOTY.

As usual, I left my camera at home. SOBBBBBBSSSS. I have reminded myself several times to bring the camera so that I could take some photos at the fashion bar. =(

Im getting frustrated. I have been trying to watch the last 2 episodes of prison break online since yesterday night but something seems to be wrong with the online video. Or is there something wrong with my lappy? Immelia have finished the whole show and started on season 2! For me, it just kept getting stucked halfway. I have been watching the 1st 30 mins of prison break ep21 for 3 times!!!! Omg!! Plsssss.. Lemmi watch the whole thing!! =( I am currently streaming episode 21 again. Please pray hard for me! Amen!

Morning Train~

I loath taking the morning train cos i hate the annoying crowd and the stagnant air. I dun understand why some people fancy farting in the train. There will always be someone farting the in train without fail whenever i take the morning train for work. Its really irritating to sniff such nauseating smell early in the morning!! YES!! I DO ENJOY FARTING BUT I ONLY FART AT HOME! Do they find it more thrilling to fart in the MRT than at home? Or they really cant hold their pungent gas? I juz dun understand these people!

There would also be some detestable people who would forcefully squeeze through the small gaps in between people in order to get into the inner side of the train when it was obvious that there wasnt much space inside! F***ing ass!

I hate it when people lean against the MRT pole as though they have no backbone! It was extremely frustrating cos I cant balance myself well and i really need something to hold on to so i would not fall and disgrace myself early in the morning! Im not those pugilist or qing gong expert who can balance and float when i am about to fall, i am a CLUMSY person, okay! The pole is meant for holding, not for jellyfishes to lean against!!! Last week, this loathsome looking auntie with a head full of dandruff leaned against the pole i was holding onto! F***ing HELL!! Cant she see my hand? Cant her unshamppoed filthy head feel it? I was infuriated!! I pulled her hair on purpose when the train jerked but she felt nothing! Unbelievable!

The papers or news always say Singaporeans are considerate and compassionate, but there wasnt a single compassionate soul in the train last week! There was this young mother who was carrying her sick son (i know he was sick cos he was coughing non-stop) and nobody offered their seat to her! Everybody seemed oblivious to their surroundings! All of them had this nonchalant and 'cant be bothered' look. It was easy to notice the mother and son cos the son was crying and coughing and the mother was struggling to balance herself. A lady who was sitting in front of the mother was pretending to sleep (i suspected) and unless she is deaf or her ears are filled with shit, she would definitely be awaken by the boy's loud wailing. She simply ignored the poor kid and mum and continued to sleep. The lady woke up almost immediately when the mother and son alighted the train, so timely huh! There was also a man who was sitting beside the lady who saw the mother's plight and instead of offering her his seat, he pretended to read his story book. OMIGOD! Are these people really that tired? Are their legs made of jellies? Cant they just offer their seat to the poor mother with her sick kid? As if standing for an hour or so in the train will break their bones!

Maybe they are juz the typical kiasu Singaporeans who wana make full use of their money since they had paid a few pathetic bucks for the train fare! I really cant stand morning train or its the people in there, i suppose.

Went to this restaurant called White Bait & Kale(WBK) two saturdays ago cos I have a 100 bucks WBK voucher. I dressed quite shabbily in slippers and 3/4 pants cos i thought its juz a casual restaurant without any dress code. I was flabbergasted when i stepped into the restaurant. It looked quite posh (not very but quite) and its fine dining! Please dont mistaken me as a country pumpkin who gets uncontollably ecstatic over a slightly posher restaurant. I have checked out the price range of the food via the restaurant webby the day before and the main course cost only about 20-30bucks. How posh can the restaurant be when the price range of the food is only 20-30bucks?

I saw several pairs of eyes staring at my red crummy slippers and I feel like tossing my havaianas outta the restaurant and slip on a pair of heels. Oh dear!

Fine dining is definitely not my preferred choice (period!) cos it took me quite some time to figure out the right cutlery for each different course. Obviously, I need to attend an etiquette class. My last etiquette class was during my secondary school days and it was conducted at a rundown school which provided main course like those do-re-mi chicken chop and buns for etiquette training. It wasnt very useful. Fine dining dont have any Do-re-mi chicken chops!

I doubt many outside America have heard of this virtually unknown club. $386million!!!! Gosh!!! Which is how many zeros?? $386,000,000!!! a nine figure sum! Which is $1.6m per week, $228,571 per day!!!!!! Bring on the endorsement of adidas, police, pepsi, etc, Mr Beckham seems to be hitting the grant jackpot everyday and striking lottery every hour!!!

Personally, I dont think David Beckham is a great footballer. Im not a football fanatic or football expert or football potato couch but I do think that there are many better players than David Beckham. Like Ronaldinho, Henry, Kaka, Andrea Pirlo, just to name a few. Ask around and I guess its not difficult for them to name footballers who are able to create more magic on the pitch than Mr Beckham.

Headed to Xin Wang HK cafe for dinner after buying qy's pressie. The food wasnt very good, maybe its bcos of my fussy tastebuds. It took me half an hour to decide what to eat and i ended up eating a pathetic french toast. lol! To be fair, the french toast tasted and looked very different from what other eateries are selling.

I planned to check out the fashion bar at clarke quay wif PS and XP that night but ended up chilling out wif XJ n coy instead cos of my flaky skin. My skin was really flaky that day so i decided not to scare the partying crowd. haha!

Anyway, the steamboat at xiao yang-er (wat a corny name!haa!) looked really NICE!!!! Should not have taken my dinner at the HK cafe! =(

Had a really sumptuous steamboat at gerald's place on xmas eve. i LOVE the scallop but the salmon doesnt taste great. Watched 'the curse of the golden flower' wif gerald, px, andy n weijie after the meal. The show was filled with ample cleavage. CLEAVAGE CLEAVAGE CLEAVAGE. WOW.. I wondered if the women in TANG dynasty really donned such cleavage spilling clothes. Almost 3/4 of their boobs were exposed. Ironically, i enjoyed the show more than andy n weijie. I thought guys r supposed to enjoy cleavage show. HOOHOO. Other than the cleavage, the palace and costumes are pretty lavish and it made the show looked like a million dollar. I seldom watch chinese movie but i kinda like this show. i Love jay chou's character. i muz say he is really a splitting image of my bro. hAAA.. i have a superstar at home!

After the cleavage show, i went to meet PS and coy at 3am in the morning for a ktv session at cine. Sang all the way to 6am.

Hit the gym this afternoon wif rol and was really impressed by my stamina. Not that its great, but its at least better than I expected. lol. Its raining heavily again today. dreads. Another week without a swim. Rainy nights are cool but not rainy days. Yawnzzzzz.

My hair turned out to be uglier than i anticipated. Its neither curly nor straight after shampooing. It looks wavy and dry. Yikes. I want natural straight hair!!!! =(

I love her hair, style and bag.

Woke up pretty early today cos Sugar jumped up to my bed to wake me up again. She has been performing such stunts these few weeks. Anyway, i needa wake up early to go to gerald's place to sew my little cloth too. I wish I have a pair of nimble hands instead of my clumsy hands.. sobbbb..

Went for a haircut at Pro trim after the sewing session (but I wasnt the one who did the sewing, thanks auntie!!!) . I wanted to snip off the curly part of my hair and the hair stylist told me that the only way is to cut it short. No short hair for me, PERIOD! She then suggested rebonding. REBONDING???? My face will look like a fat and long pancake with my flat, sparse hair. I thought there is a way to get rid of my curls without rebonding my hair. Like apply some chemical and stuff. But there isnt. Sigh.. In the end, she suggested that she will just trim and gimme a hairstyle that will give my sparse hair more 'volume'. Sounds cool.
She straightened my hair after trimming it. The hairstyle looks good with natural straight hair. I hope my hair remains straight cos i figured that it wouldnt look good with curls. plssss!!! straight!!!!!

Visited granny in the evening after a dinner at Whampoa wif mum n dad. She is a lot skinnier. I guess she dun really remember who I am. We played cards with her and its great to see her smile. I feel sad when I bid her goodbye and head home. I sensed that she longs for accompany. =( Anyway, I shall visit her again when im free.

Its a Saturday today and im not partying or shopping. hooohooo.. greatgreat. It means lesser money going outta my skinny wallet.

im changing my blog because of 2 reasons, 1]my previous blog has a weird and complicated template which makes it difficult for miss almost IT illiterate to edit and post her postings. 2] i find my blog address rather corny. Although this current one aint the best, its at least better than my previous combination of my own english and cheena names.

Just got home from holland v after a satisfying meal at coffee club. i LOVE GARLIC PRAWN pasta!!!!! SLURP!!!
Its really great to hear sugar barking loudly when i stepped home just now. BOW WOW!! She has recovered from her fever!! I LOVE my doggie, SUGAR the extraordinary mini miniature schnauzer!

A few colleagues commented that I look older than my age. One even said I look a lot older. shhhuccckksss.. Even PS agreed. She even said i look like a money grabber. oh HOLY HOLY HOLY! i do love money but i aint a gold digger. PS say its bcos of my hair. A haircut is needed desperately. My curly locks gotta go.
